Offering an international network, our firm's Advisory Board provides our portfolio companies with high level, industry specific business contacts, as well as the ability to assist in the formation of strategic alliances and expansion opportunities.



We typically invest in opportunities and companies with market leader potential. Most of our growth strategies project market leadership within a 5 to 10 year investment horizon. In evaluating investment opportunities, we endorse a proactive, hands-on approach that permits maximization of our firm's core competencies and offers top-level assistance to entrepreneurs via a long-term commitment.

We generally envision maintaining equity positions in portfolio companies for a significant period of time to add value and maximize growth.
In order to enable this level of dedication, we limit the number of new investments placed each year. Our current investment focus includes the areas of Information Technology, Telecommunications and Life Sciences/Healthcare with geographic focus in the Southeast US.

We typically invest $1 to $3 million in a given stage of investment. We also retain the capability to participate in follow-on investments and introduce other co-investors to our investment endeavors.

We seek to fund companies that meet the following criteria:

Exceptional management with a proven track record
Active in markets with a strong and accelerating demand for their products and/or services
Well-defined business model
Strong intellectual property rights
Revenue run rate exceeding $ 4 million
EBITDA positive or a clear path to profitability
Strong strategic and financial partners



We prefer to receive business plans through a referral from someone familiar with our firm and able to provide a strong endorsement of the company's management team and business plan.

Submissions of business plans from private investment professionals and entrepreneurs with proven track records also are encouraged. Potential portfolio companies should familiarize themselves with our investment criteria before submitting a plan.

All business plans submitted to Crossbow Ventures are treated confidentially. A business plan is a prerequisite for preliminary discussions and should include an executive summary with detailed sections providing information on:
